NOTE ON INTERPRETATION AND USE

Factor analyses performed on the College of Business Administration SEIP data and the literature on measuring effective teaching suggest that the six factors listed above are reasonable descriptors of teaching effectiveness in CBA.

For each student, the weighted average composite scores are computed for the six factors using the factor scoring coefficients for highly loaded variables as weights. The Composite Score on Factor column presents the median class composite score along a five point scale for each factor. The Percentile Rank column indicates the percentage of sections in your comparison group (undergraduate/graduate/core/ noncore) that scored lower than your section.

[N.B. These factor analyses ceased to be prepared for GSU faculty. This was one of the last times these were run.]
